ss canteen real or not?

Hello gents, I would love to hear your guys thoughts on this one....to me the ss stamp looks "off".....

For me markings look added using single digits.

For me it looks like a good canteen that someone add "ss" to..... it hard to find examples to compare, the known ones I have come across the ss one s is slightly higher than the other on the neck stamping....its tough i'v been looking to buy one for awhile now!

Very nice examples prowler! Any ever came across just a cap for sale. I have a ss canteen which someone who placed just a regular cap on it, I would love to make it "whole" again!
