SS Tailor's Label

This label is sewn into a very nice pair of leather pants as used by some SS in France. Don't know tailor's marks/labels, but does it seem period?

Yes, Bob is correct, they were made this way in the period but also are being copied and added to items to enhance value and make them look more real. Note the rank is not an SS rank but an Army rank.
