SS planetree #5 zeltbahn

Picked this up off a canadian member last week. Did it on a whim, do not collect these items. Mainly rifles and ammo. But I liked the look and made an impulse buy.

Has some patches made of other zeltbahn. A few stains and tears. I would say used in the field extensively. All buttons are there, and is marked in two spots. Very faint but I believe I can read 1943.

I don't know for sure how the patches are applied. Maybe glue. I'd have to take a look.

An original Platane Nr. 5 Zeltplane... "salty".

The fabric from the "Durchschlupf" seems to be Eichenlaub... Or "oak A".

its the "Warei " maker stamp, I wondered if there was another stamp on the same edge?
