    SS Silverware Set?

My first SS militaria buy, kind short fused buy. Can anyone help me out with it? I've found similar sets online in pics only. Thought it was rather unique item to have. Can post more pics if it helps ID. Not too concerned with value, just want to know if this is a authentic set.

Only markings I can see are:
Knife blade: Julius Kratz Solingen-Merscheid with letters JKS in a diamond shape with Rostfrei. on the back of the knife only a 100 is stamped on the top of the handle.
Spoon: back midway on handle stamped: JKS 100
Fork: back midway on handle stamped: JKS 100

    No other makers marks.

Anything in particular that stands out as to being fake?

        Pay attention.
        Runes are engraved.
The original - only a stamp!

Any mechanical or manual engraving - a sure sign of a fake.

Thanks for the help. Not what I was wanting to hear but, it is what it is. Could it be possible this was made for someone associated with the SS? Is it even period correct or is it just straight crap?

All tableware of SS known to me were made only by a stamping method.
I collect tableware more than 10 years.
              No having engraved.
              Sorry..

Why would any company make reproductions of worthless tableware ??
That doesn't make sense. These items were crudely made for soldiers everyday use, not fine dining.

                    And FAR from being 'worthless'

These are ghastly. All kinds of items are reproduced. Original tableware is collectible.

                        Really????
Check out the prices of anything with SS on it, real or not.
You'll find that it makes very much sense to any faker very quickly to make it
