An authors reputation goes to his personal credibility and the sum then transfers directly to the veracity of any reference he authors or IMO is allowed to participate in. I suppose an exception would be if the subject of this reference is fraud camo identification.

Thanks David! So we are still waiting for analysis if fakes have been seeded into the books.
        Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

His personal credibility has no bearing on whether the books have all original material in them. Lorenzo knows camo.

Your logic suggests that Mengele may have made a great babysitter for twins. After all - Mengele knew twins.

This hobby and business is only as legitimate as the behavior it choses to tolerate. No wonder it is in the sad state it is.

You and Jacques have missed my whole point. Perhaps standing on your moral soapbox has confused you. I have never supported Lorenzo at all. I was interested in knowing if he seeded his books with fakes or if he used only original material. Since neither of you two apparently has the books you can't answer my question.

Jeff, no misunderstanding from me. I purely responded to your statements, which is perfectly clear. Btw a moral soapbox or compass is a good thing to have, I take that as a compliment. J

I think you have missed my point. I see no merit in supporting the work product of a proven fraudster. That is unless the work is devoted to fraud identification.
