Skull could be orginal and made by uknown maker
Looks like dug cleaned in acid (not so strong) like lemon acid.
If someone aged this skull in not natural way he is for sure very gut..
Some details looks as natural made
If you know this person and he is going witch metal detector skull for sure is orginal.
I think is many still not discovered skull patterns.
P.S I have question: is this skull orginal or fake?

The skull doesn't match an Overhoff, Assmann or a Zimmermann and the pins don't match a Deschler. Obviously there is/was a copper content from the verdigris ..... maybe at best a crappy Eastern European made item.

          Just me thinking aloud.

          Ian.

The skull that started this thread is a well known, low quality attempt to fake a Zimmermann skull on the front. However, if you look closely at the skull, you will see that it does closely resemble pooh, as David has already mentioned.

Can we see another one example?
If it is well know should be no problem.

I'll have to dig through my archives. Shouldn't take me long.

                      Could be.
But we still have only this one fake or orginal ,,dug''
To be sure we need ,,well known fake'' to compare
Skull's posted by you are not the same as posted by klasterix.
I wrote ,,could be orginal '' in my first post .Im not wrote orginal.
                      This is difference
Im still waiting for other skull to compare.
If we will all sculls witchout marks call fake witchout compare to exist fake's Im thinking we made mistake.
They could exist in one example and their are orginal as I posted previously Latvian zink SS skull
