Need opinions on Sturmmann chevron

What do you guys think? I did a forum search and found a couple for comparison, but still not sure if it is SS or Heer panzer?

Looks ok to me.

Conventional knowledge says, bright diamond tresse on black wool would be for either SS or for a Heer panzer walking out uniform. No difference what so ever.

On the other hand, there would be many, many more SS men with this rank than Army soldiers who had a black wrapper for dress wear. So in all probability, it is SS, But who knows? If you're buying it, claim it's army. If you sell it, it becomes SS.
