    Embroidered Foreign Volunteer Patches-anything special?

I would sincerely appreciate any information on whether these embroidered patches have much more value than printed ones. Any special significance to the colors? The POA patch is a very dark green - almost black. Thanks.

well, neither is specifically SS. The POA is embroidered and the other is 'Bevo' or 'Bevo type' machine weave... Both are worth more than printed examples and in my opinion more desirable than printed. [that POA is very nice!]

+1. The used bevo is more desirable than the one from the bales of unissued bevo, but someone trimmed the shield pretty close to the weave.

I though SS Waffengruppe Georgien used this shield, they did not?
