WSS Dutch Volunteer Shield

I just received this in the mail from a collector who wants me to buy it.
I've never bought any volunteer shields before.
This one looks like it was made by a company that made US patches!
But, it did pass my black light test.
What do you guys think - is it a good one or a fake?

Thank you J.M.C., Nick, Steve-o, and Wojtek (I really liked the video about the soldier bear!).
The info about the Dachau hoard was very helpful. I looked for period photos of it worn by soldiers and the shield colors were diagonal. The Germans must have redesigned it with horizontal stripes maybe 1943-44?
