    Oberbayern cuffband

Sadly I've had to cancel my trip to Kentucky this year due to work commitments, the first one I've missed in six years.

I'm gutted but this nice addition to the collection arrived yesterday to cheer me up a little and bring some sunshine

Wishing everyone going to the SOS a great and successful trip.

              I'm rarely jealous.

Does it show signs of being worn?

                    That is very nice!

The SOS will be back again next year - but who knows how many opportunities you will get with a CT like that . . .

Too bad about the SOS. I can truly feel your pain.

Thanks for the comments guys. It shows light wear to part of the border but more importantly one of the folded ends has been cut and I've seen that on other worn bands where they sit under the other end of the band on a tunic.

I've always assumed this is so the band lies flat rather than display a raised bump that would show if the folded end sat under it. It's not clear on the photo but there is a kink to the folded end where faint traces of the tag remain and that I think is where the join was.
