Certainly no expert, and would defer to Owen and Palm, but from a cursory review pattern and cut looks okay to me.

Salty dots jacket and original one in smooth cotton fabric with heer insignias applied (not uncommon)

The Italian collectors have called this jacket, French, smooth fabric, the fabric as written because I think that was produced in France, more unfortunately I do not know

                        Hi guys

I don't want to disrupt this thread but I would like to know if other collectors can confirm the french origin of this fabric and if there are some proofs on that because that's new for me
Never heard that France have produced camo fabric during the war.

                        Thanks to the camo experts

Never heard of french made WSS camo cloth ? only in the 80's ...
This jacket is a good one for me , in the tropical ribbed cotton version
used to print DOT 44 also .

                            Tunic is a good one.
I highly doubt the add ones are wartime.
                            Classic Italian fabric.

Good original one. Determining when the insignia was added would take a hands-on examination, but it looks nice as set up.
