    M1/52 Eagle - wrong marking location?

    Hello,

    This eagle is marked to D&S, but not in a location I'm used to seeing it or on the ones I own.

    Has anyone seen this style / location markings on 1/52 eagles know to be original?

    I appreciate the help.

      Sorry, this is a common reproduction. You can see the big eye and the rest of the incorrect head on the back side. These used to be for sale at WWME years ago for around $5.00. BTW, no original has been found with this style marking.
