    KZ collar tab

Just curious, does anyone have a 'KZ' collar tab in their collection? Not the 'K' marked totenkopf tab like the beauty recently posted () but the one with only the letters? I remember a portrait photograph showing on in wear was posted here many years back and I've never seen another one of those tabs.

There’s one for sale at Oak Leaf Militaria.

Interesting but on another note, I see that site as a 'Wiking' Division longboat tab for sale. I was under the impression that those tabs were designed but never actually manufactured.

Definately period made but no proof they were ever issued.

          Wiking Tab

They were indeed manufactured but not issued. (Angolia, Cloth Insignia of the SS, 2nd Edition, 1989, Pages 317-318.)

You need to do more research.

Great pics. However, the discussion was about the Wiking collar tab being worn, not the "K" tab.

As I'am follow the first post, I can see the question about K tabs used without the scull, there nothing mentioned about the Wiking

I can't make it out either, would be good to see a close up.

Also, thanks to those that have posted photos of the tab in wear. This is a great reference thread for the future.
