Novel with SS marking

Hi guys,

I got this "Haus des Lebens" novel few years ago for free with an original SS zeltbahn, we can see an SS "Das Reich" marking inside, I would like to know if it's legit ?

Looks legit enough IMHO, .... but easily faked.... "just" a period book with "SS" unit-property markings, worth a premium but only because of the stamp markings... and only to a "collector" (who both believed in and appreciated it).

If it came as you said... I wouldn't doubt it (assuming the SS Zelt was real!).

A rubber stamp doesn't make a book worth a fortune

Worth a fortune, certainly not. Worth something, though. An item like this requires a leap of faith. Rubber stamps are cheap and easily copied, but I like this one more than I don't.

I know that if the marking is legit the price of the book will not be a fortune, it's just a book I have in the collection without having interest in it as I got it for free but as I stop collecting I sell all stuff I have.

I think something like 60€ will be fair for that book.
