    Bevo trap factory sewn

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a question i have.
I have been looking through old threads to find examples bevo trap ( green or black ) application to a cap.
It seem to be from what i have read straight stitch is the accepted way i'm interested in knowing if zigzag stitching was ever used.
I found one example posted by Mike Davis (mike i hope you don't mind me useing the image) in this thread
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...er+cap&page=21
    Cheers
    Dave.

Thanks for crediting the photo, a scan from an old '70s era 35mm print. The cap was formerly from Don Woods' collection, most of it veteran sourced. I don't remember much about this one now.

I still have to find a believable example.

Zigzag stitching was used. Most seem to be a straight stitch but there's nothing wrong with zigzag.

Only hand stitching gives me a reason for concern.

Tony , I agree but we are speaking of BeVo traps and not the embroidered ones .

                    Lol - you old hairsplitter....

Ok "Dachau" cap with BEVO trap zigzag sewn. Owned by Gary Wood.

This zigzag stuff was discussed way back in 2005...

Thanks for posting the pics Tony it's really appreciated.
Thanks also Emilio I'm guessing this kind of application on bevo trap is something people agree or don't agree.
I will try taking some detailed pics when it arrives.
                      Thanks again everyone.
                      Cheers

                        I didn't remember that one.
Interesting.Would be helpful if Gary can post better pics of that one.
