SS Logo - Shirt Or Other?

    Hello my friends,

I recently found this SS Logo I think it's not good.

It's not the common SS Sport Shirt Logo all we know, this is smaller.

Have you ever seen it? Is it good or not?

Thanks in advance for your help

Not original ... maybe a 'Patch King' or some such reproduction.

May look good on a biker's leather jacket

Personally, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it unless you're certain it's a reproduction. Many variations of this runic sport patch--homemade and factory produced--existed which is proven by period photographs. I even seem to recall a picture that showed a smaller example than the known textbook pattern in wear....give me some time and I'll search for it.

Just for the record, I'm in no way saying said patch is authentic. I do not specialize in these and haven't a clue if it's real. All I'm attempting to convey is I've seen several different variations in period documents and dismissing it solely on the grounds it doesn't match what we are use to would be, with respect, negligent at best. I also see no problem with how it was constructed. There doesn't appear to be anything modern about it, albeit the images provided are very dark.
Now all that being said, I'd venture to guess there are just as many, if not more, variations of reproductions.

                  Maybe it's for a labcoat?

                    Correct ....
I'll stick by my judgement this is a modern reproduction
Nor is it a lab coat badge ...

                          Not for me!

                          1. The construction does not look German to me.

                          2. Most, if not all, of the pre-1945 variations I recall seeing are the reverse colors.

Yes, the infamous SS labcoat. I don't believe this one is correct.
