I just checked in and saw that the thread has now turned to "is that KZ brown"? I was really hoping to avoid that as this question has been asked numerous times on this forum. The Recon/Krad enlisted visor that was just posted use to belong to me. It was a true cinnamon or copper brown color as used by recon and krad units. KZ brown is light brown and these are true late war waffenfarbe for KZ units. I removed the boards from the tunic and have taken several close up shots. When you hold true KZ boards they look nothing like copper brown in my opinion. I hope these pics can help.

This is interesting from a `learning perspective`. A pair of KZ brown straps (as you write light brown and these are true late war waffenfarbe for KZ units). Very interesting to point this out as the straps are from a tunic with a Dachau story, and since the colour was confused with cinnamon brownish (cinnamon or copper brown color as used by recon and krad units).
KZ brownish colour will always be a recurrent question here on the forum. The boards on your tunic show how a pair of KZ boards shall look like.
Thank you for extra photos
