    Named LAH officers Leather Greatcoat

First let me state that this does NOT belong to me but I do have the opportunity to acquire it. While I do not doubt it's authenticity some help is need with value, have never owned one and do not have anything to compare it to. Would like to know a fair retail value as I sure do not want to overpay. By the way, the documents and photos DO NOT come with it, just copies. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

I have good pics of sewn in name tag and shoulder boards with the metal LAH Cyphers but they will not load, will have to resize and try again later.

Nice original leather great coat. Not sure about the pedigree. Coat tag reads Nachschub which is supply ....so blue waffenfarbe.
The boards are infantry white piped...a transfer? What do the soldbuch pages indicate? Any clear images of the pages with unit info?
Regarding the tag info: also shouldn't it be LAH? The tag reads LHAH? Or ? Or is it LSAH?
Can't comment on the cypher a but the holes don't look drilled which is a good sign. I like the coat.
If the paperwork and the coat belong together and it is a legit combination, it would be a real shame to separate these...

It reads "L(SS runes)AH". This does not make things original but some SS officers continued to wear the waffenfarbe for their primary "Waffengattung" even when assigned to other duty positions.

OK that is clear to me now...LA + SS runes (bleeding together) + H.
Nice coat not too hung up about the waffen farbe discrepancy...
Things change...going from infantry to supply is more common..
So the other way around...?transfer often because of a wound...who knows...?

                            lah cypher

Photo is not very clear but in my opinion the cypher looks like a good one. Better pics would help a lot. Lets see what other have to say.

cypher picture is really bad, only good to hide problems, but I believe I see problem areas from casting (to verify just provide clear pics) and I do not like the name tag either. Sorry IMO it is a post-war made-up LAH piece
