I'm not an m43 expert, but I personally like it. No comment on the edel, but the rest seems to all be the norm from ones I've seen.

Edelweiss is an oval cut, I have one as well, the cap is OK, and the interior is cut by mountain troops compliments regards sergio

RBN numbered M43 with added SS insignia would be my guess and valuation.

but its a put together item so no way someone could guarantee it was really GJ SS Cap
It could have been WH one

my thoughts too machine-application of the triangle does not look like it has been made by hand at all and I don't see where the lining has been opened either
