I have had this item for many years Long before the fakes started to appear.
But I haven't had anything to compare this too
Therefore what's your opinion " Yes or No " and why ?

I wish i could help David if it is good it is a rare piece of insignia from what i have read not many were qualified to wear it.

Sad I missed the Officer version.
I am afraid that the EM version is not good, the embroidery is quite off from my view.

I've always had doubts about the SS Bergfuehrer 'sleeve' patch, mainly because it is so different from the enamelled army and police Bergfuehrer breast badges. Also, the SS Bergfuehrer badge was intended for wear on the left breast pocket, not the sleeve. The well known SS Bergfuehrer fakes - and the few supposedly genuine 'originals' - all seem too big to fulfil this function.
