    Helmet Cover for Review

    Hello,

This looks like some kind of variant pattern, but I wanted to check and make sure it was a replica before I dismissed it.

    regards, Robert

Real cloth - well, at least that's something!

      Thanks for weighing in, Owen.

          Clips are classic fakes

what are the experts thinking about the stiching lines?

The clips looked off to me, but it looks like it was sewn with a double needle and finished within pre-1945 quality standards.

But I understand the cover is bad - thanks again.

              regards, Robert

                The stitching is also incorrect.

I agree the cloth looks original, but clips and stitching look awful!

Agreed. The sewing is nothing like one would expect to see on an original.

                      Not a chance, IMO.

No expert here of course but it looks to be a single attempting to be a double ?
