    Schirmmütze opinions needed.

    Personally I don`t like it, but maybe I`m wrong.

      The black band appears to have stitching lines where it was sewn to the cap

        Ian, you're right mate.

        It's an original late war erel Heer visor which someone has sewn a velvet band on to it.

            Another good visor ruined--late-late war Erels w/ infantry piping are uncommon.
