You are most welcome. I just like to help make things more clear and correct for all of the viewers here and if there is ever any information that I can share, then I must do so.
This is a good discussion that has not occurred very often.

IMO, it looks much better now, than it did in the first pictures posted.
I'm still not 100% sure though, as these are not within my usual study area.
I do feel that it is likely a worn original, but one should make sure that the button is really made of aluminum. It does look a bit dark in the new photos, (probably just lighting, but this should be noted, IMO).
Sorry that I cannot give you a definite answer.

If they are a dug, aluminium could have dark patina.
But dark I mind dark black colour .
In this case it doesnt look like natural patin.
Against all Im not change my opinion about this exactly buttons and Im thinking they are not orginal. Also proof marks, producers code are poor made.
But as I always wrote I could be wrong.

I just wanted to mention that I have placed a wanted add for one of these Assmann buttons, as I would like to add one to my collection.

            Thanks!

Weight is important. They look casted to me and I think I see a flaw in the same place on the back of each button.

Well, hopefully I will be able to determine if it's cast of not, if and when I find one.

Thanks to all of you for your comments.
The seller told me they were made of zinc, so they are probably fake like some people said sooner.

The nickel ones are really nice, but I have yet to locate one.
