    Genuine SS pebbled button?

    Good evening,
I need your help regarding this SS button - 16mm diameter.
    Is it a genuine one?
I am skeptical, the SS emblem shouldn't be circled, isn't it?
Likewise, has THE MANUFACTURER olc ever product such ss buttons??

    In my opinion fake

P.S I never saw SS buttons made by OLC manufacturer or others buttons made by this manufacture

Hard to say from the photos but they don't look like a 2 or 3 pc construction.

Olc made original rzm/ss side hooks and back belt hooks.
Better close up pics could be usefull.

Overhoff did make original SS marked buttons. Here is mine for comparison.
However, as for the one in question, it's really hard to make a judgment based on those small pictures, IMO.

I second that. I have never seen original one-piece buttons but a gazillion one-piece fakes.

This button had not typical order code for SS buttons.
Pls compare to Assman button order code from same production year

And answer for Pascal :Olc made original rzm/ss side hooks and back belt hooks.
                      You are rigt (:
                      Here is for Luftwaffe

I have little faith in the button that started this thread, as others have stated, it appears to be of single piece construction. However, I can assure that the one I posted is original. I don't quite understand your comment about the markings in comparison with Assmann's buttons. The ones that I have seen are very similar. Here are a few for comparison.

As you can see, they both bare the maker's logo, just like you will see on the SS officer's belt buckles.

...and of course, they did not all bare the maker's logo.
It just depends on what maker you are talking about.
Variations are very numerous amongst SS items, as we all should know.
