    SS Visor cap

This cap has been in the family for at least 30 years in a wardrobe. I am told it could be a replica as the RZM tag is missing the ` Fur ` before SS .
Id be very appreciative of any comments good or bad about this cap. The Eagle badge has the RZM stamp on the reverse and a number, very well stamped . The sweatband has wear with makers name- Alfred Valet, the hat overall is in very nice condition and has makers Stamp Alfred Valet and other stamp also. It looks very good to me but I am no expert of course .
    Many thanks

Forgive my ignorance here , vulca fiber visor - do you mean the hat itself, just the visor or ?

He means vulcan fibre which is the material original visors/peaks are made from.
In this case, the visor/peak looks to be an original item, so does the leather sweatband.

However, it's quite common for fakers to use original parts in their creations in an attempt to fool.

Can you take a photo of the entire interior of the cap please?

                  Cap

The RZM tag looks fake, and the way it's attached looks wrong. Isn't the tag upside down?

and a typical EM/NCO liner not in the common to find Officer blk or white silk liner quality.

The centre band is black velvet , the interior is all what looks like Silk, orange and it has the size 56 stamped also.
It was bought in Germany years ago . So there is a chance the most part it is genuine but the RZM tag and metal Badges are add ons then maybe?
                        Thanks

its a bad tempered visor and the liner is not at all silk, from where you got it in Germany?
