Agreed, it's a textbook original 6 strand border NOT the regular 7 strand common or garden variety.

      Cuff Title

Originals had always 7 wire strands per each side or a total of 14.
That can be found in literaturę dating back to the last 20 or 30 years ago and it is a rule of thumb. If it was the other way someone would have paid that price.

Here you see closely there are only 6 silver threads per each side, meaning it has 12 total. Thats how most good fakes were made.
A magnifying glass will help in seeing that difference, besides the threads look synthetic. You should try a test to see if they melt or not in fire.
Either it has the 7 wires or its not real (not a variety as you call it) the rzm and clothing military enforced depots were very particular about the clothing standards.

        Title

Besides the font in the wording Das Reich is off center meaning that the text is higher placed nearby the upper threads than to the bottom ones. The silver threads are not as tightly sewn together they in fact are loose and again no reputable dealer will accept anything else than 7 wire strand for an ss cuff title
        its a repro period.

Dont you think a "faker" would be smart enough to make the title with 7 strands? This pice is a good one!

This person knows not what he is talking about because he is relying only on books published 20 or 30 years ago. Big mistake for him.

Yours is not an expert opinion. These six strand RZM Das Reich cufftitles are common fixtures in original collections. They are pre-1945 German manufacture.
