From this distance I would be very cautious the runic tab looks wrong and the eagle. Close ups would tell more.

Welcome to the forum - As has already been mentioned, the runic collar tab is a not original, and as the for the rest you will need to post some additional/close-up photo's...If it's your tunic, sorry for the bad news, and if it's being offered to you, my advice is be very careful...Best, John

Definately bad eagle,I will go with my hunch that the tab is also bad, not a good tunic.Would be interesting to examine the liner and see what this was made up from.

If you are comfortable with their judgements then that's all that matters, but IMO that runic tab is 100% bad. As for the sleeve eagle, there is a much wider variance among the original hand-embroidered styles. Personally, I would not be comfortable with this eagle, only because I favor the more traditional "RZM" style eagle...Without additional photo's, I will reserve comments on the rest...Best, John

Well Im sorry to hear that I had alot of faith in both as having the ability to render good sound opinion in this category.I need to see more of the tabs and the liner and the boards but I am still of the belief the eagle is bad,Ive studied the styles used most commonly and many rare uncommon styles and this one isnt among them.

Perhaps it's the photo, but that cypher lacks the clarity (i.e. cast) and depth that I would expect of an original...Best, John

Hi David ,I hate to pile on but I just don't see what Mike H and John C saw in this piece that were missing.I agree w/all the above concerns and would add the CT to the list.I think IMO the embroidery is to "heavy" and lacks the quality I like to see.It looks like an improved version of a 70s copy.The LAH title has alot of variations in the hand emboidered style but this one would'nt be for me.If it were for sale would not give it a second look.Sorry Steve
