This discussion has absolutely nothing to do with subject at hand. If you are looking to grind a political axe, I would suggest that it be done somewhere else. I will request that this post be deleted by the Forum Moderator. As to the concept of "stolen or plundered," this was not private property but captured enemy military equipment from a facility that represented one of the low points of the history of our species.

I received a Dirlewanger collar patch as partial repayment for an item I had purchased....It's the one with the crossed rifles and hand grenade....Have to admit, for the longest time I believed it was fake....But with the coming of the the 60th anniversary of D-Day, a local paper ran a picture of a local veteran with an SS collar tab and also one similar to mine...He brought them back....Add that to the number of collectors who have picked them up....Have to say, I've renewed my thoughts....I believe in them now...
