There is a cardboard templete under the bullion. No glow under blacklight.

'unterlagen' is 'cardboard templete' in German

            eagle

That is a early pattern SS Officers eagle , so often seen on the early VT tunics , the tag on back is a nice extra . I have also seen them with green backgrounds but this is rare for sure.

That's because most of them did not have any.

Thanks guys for all the help.

The Eagle was in a group that contained an very nice original flat wire Germania cufftitle and this collar tab.

Since the eagle turned out good any chance for this collar tab?

I really didn't like it very much so wasn't planning to post photos. I guess I already decided it was fake. The buckram backing is a very coarse weave that I don't like to see.

                Anyway, here's the tab.

                Cheers,
                Howard

                      Yes....yes I do.

I usually stay in my comfort zone....which is away from bullion SS insignia.

                              When you are so picky.
                              Singular Unterlage.
                              Multiple Unterlagen.
                              Also note of large letter.
