idk if that's an Ss ring, it looks more to be a kantine ring. There were a number of patterns from which soldiers would choose like from a catalog or a jeweler and then they'd be made and sold, sometimes with upgrades like glass eyes etc. the question is its authenticity even in that regard, so with some closer and clearer shots the experts will tell you right away if it's possibly original of maybe cast from an original...it's not too hard to see the casting flaws. These replicas go back many many years so don't be surprised if it ends up looking like an original, but it isn't. IMO u should post it on the rings forum of German daggers. Good luck!

Almeida if you founded (dug) this ring personally- ring is orginal.
But as Byzanti wrote this is typical kantin skull ring (not SS)
