SS PANZER TROOPS DACHAU MADE M.43 CAP review

Hi ive seen this cap what do you guys think, its in the Michael Beaver cloth headgear of the SS book, how rare are these? and how much are they worth this is offered at £2500
im new to SS uniforms and caps so wanted some advice

Hi thanks, so over priced by £650 so its worth about £1850?

are these not worth as much as other SS Panzer Caps?

Correct these Dachau pz.m43 caps are twice cheaper because they are much more common and less desirable.

why? what difference would it make if i have it or not? But to answer your question No i don't have it though have had one before for about a week then returned to a dealer. Decided to go for a "standard" m43 with separate skull and eagle which looks much better to me

What difference would it make? Only that it helps me to better understand why you would feel comfortable to degrade this type cap. Dachau M43 Panzer caps are desireable from the standpoint of being unquestionable. Most people like that. In the U.S. they quickly sell for $2500, and I know of some that have sold for more.

Hi guys thanks for the info, so these are only worth about £1600-1850

they are nice but like said the "standard" m43 do sell for much more and are more desireable,

i dont know why the pieces are so high in the UK, seem much lower in the US
Seems the UK is so close to germany and in europe you would think the prices would be lower all dealers in the UK have really high prices and won't budge

Values for most Third Reich material have fallen in the US, in some cases quite a bit. Just look at the difference in values posted on the estand between items from US sellers and EU sellers.
Anyway, these Dachau caps are not valued as highly due to the poor quality and the fact that not many of them were actually issued and worn during the war.
Somewhat analogous to ww2 Japanese "last ditch" items.

Hi well here in the UK prices are through the roof, this cap is offer for £2700 and he dropped to £2500 i don't know how these dealers sell anything.
