I may be missing an opportunity but the piping join, shape of the runes and B tag just don't do it for me personally.

I agree that the piping and other aspects do not bode well for this tab. Some claim that piping like this did exist, but I dont subscribe to that however.
The bullion thread used for the runes and the way it is worn off does not look period to me either.
