    Palm Smock - real or fake - Help wanted

    Can anyone help me with this smock. It looks ok but I am open to opinions. This is my first post - I dont know how to attach photos so please email me for photos.

                    Mark,

                    IMHO this is a good W-SS M40 Palm smock - absolutely no problem from what I see. Attached is an image of one of my smocks - note the similar colouring (which can differ with different Palm smocks). I believe I know the price and source - the price is OK (not great) and I cannot speak to the source (have never dealt with them but have heard nothing wrong about them).

                        I wouldn't buy from him...though the smock doesn't look like a low quality fake the chance is high that it could be a fake....There are some things on these pics that I don't like...especialy the "pocket" flaps look a bit strange to me....And the seller of course...

                          I respect Mike C's opinion that this smock is original as he knows his stuff. However being that the source is from repro wonderland (Czechoslovakia) it would make me a bit,well alot hesitant/nervous to purchase such an expensive item and then having it get lost or it turning out to be bad (hands on is always best) and the seller refusing to refund my money etc,etc

                          I have took a few terrible screwings purchasing from Ebay in the past in which the item looked great based on the pics.... but turned out to be bad with the seller refusing to refund my money .

                              Good points all - I think the smock is good but given the info on the source (I hadn't seen that it was listed by this seller on E-Bay) I would be VERY, VERY careful. This would, in my opinion, be high risk...
