Good luck to both the buyer and seller. This is the most obvious case of post office theft and direct sale I've seen in a while, and from your home post office as well.

The post inspector once helped me land a thief in jail, and they can be quite a resource. The state attorney's office got involved as well.

I have dealt with both of you and recognize you are both good folks, which is evident in the civil exchange in the thread. Thanks for showing what reasonable collectors can do together working to address a problem not of your own making. Hope you nail the bad guy.

Ok so if this is the skull, and DougR has postmaster report about stolen item, is this to be returned.. Im stumped does it go back because of being sold would be like receiving stolen property. Nobody wins here but how does this get rectified. TPK
