          Alles Schund!

They are all fake. Chris McClurkan will tell you how and why. Do look at the originals he and others have posted.

            Hi all,

            Yes, these are both fake.
The eagle is a casting of the Zimmermann style eagle,
but has incorrect markings, (never buy anything that has an "SS" in a diamond),
like this eagle has. This bad marking is seen on many fake SS buckles as well.

The RZM 41 skull is a crude attempt to recreate the Assmann pattern skull.
The wide suture lines and the crossbones on the left side are probably the most noticeable failure on these.
            Hope this helps!

            Best, Chris

There are original rzm 41 marked skulls, This is what I think . Others have different oppinions. The originals are marked differently than the one pictured above. They are also made from a differnt material.Attached are a couple pics, I wish I could find the damn skull I cant remember where I put it or if I sold it

All the silver finish is on the back side and only traces are left on the front.

Your right Brian It could be an old fake but I am not 100% sure , If it is a fake it is from the 60,s. I can say it is not like any other rzm 41 maked skull I have ever looked at. The rzm mark is in a differnt place and material and finish is different. I used to see alot of rzm marked 41 insignia for sale in the 80's but not like this one. Who knows a different Fake variation probably.

Yes, probably is. The first tk of any description I ever got was a fake
RZM 41 from Unique Imports back in the early 70's, for about $3. I still
                        have it around here someplace.
