    edelweiss cloth badge for comments

Please help me decide if I should purchase these two badges. They are offered together, I have no idea if they are good or bad and I cannot identify the second badge. Thanks for your help.

The Edelweiss is a reverse variant.
The pattern being a mirror image of the standard type.
Still an original, just different to the run of the mill.
The arm shield is the lion of Flanders(Flemish) worn by
      members of the Langemarck division.

Thanks for the assist. I would appreciate a PM as for value so I can make a fair purchase offer.

These two cloth pieces have been in a private collection for a long time. I have been unable to find a similar photo example of the Flemish shield for comparison. If anyone has one please show it. I am curious to know how dealers price this shield or if any others are for sell. Thanks.

            What ...
In all my years of collecting I have always been lead to believe there was only one pattern.
Agreed this is a wee bit different in design (there could be a thousand reasons why) but I don't think there is such a thing as a variant

Compare it with a standard Arm Edelweiss and you will see what I mean.
              It is reversed in design.

I don't have too ..... I realise this one is a wee bit different
But I'm still of the opinion there isn't a variant of this badge
As I have already stated there maybe reasons why this one is different
                Regards David

                  Edelweiss is a fake IMO

                    Of course it isn't a fake ...
If you look carefully you will notice this is a standard issue badge.
And yes it is different because it has been created back to front
Therefore this might be a little more desirable because of the error in it's creation ...
But still original. See the images I have enclosed.

Any other comments on the Flanders Legion arm shield? I found an informative site that references this design.

I think the Edelweiss is neat - I'd like to have it in my collection.
