      These were never enameled. At least that what I've been told.

        They do have enameled ones but I believe this style is a reproduction. I had one just like it a long time ago, which was a repro. Derek who is a member can confirm if it's a repro or not.

          I for one have never seen one. Even the quite high rankning kepi or soft cap always have had a painted sun-cross (GSSN-ravens not being painted). But I would gladly be proven wrong.

                        I found a thread about these on a Norwegian forum and I believe most Norwegian collectors agree these were never enamelled, only painted.
