Hi David,
That RZM type you first posted is very nice and I too would feel more than comfortable with.
I may as well post this one that you have seen already. I know you believe it is bad, but the more I look at it, I am just not sure. I pictured in bright sunlight to highlight any warts and my camera tends to warp things a bit as usual. The threads are not really so thick as they appear and have some rubbing to the surface.
What say ye all?

I have to say i'm in agrement with David.
There are a few things that bother me,The buckram the black base material i think the runes also look a little odd.
Lets hope i'm wrong hopfully you will get a few more opinions.

Actually the black wool base and buckram I have no problems with at all. When in hand, they seem fine and compare to other known originals. Perhaps the oblique sun makes the wool look odd.
It is the runes which I think maybe in question. Judging from some of the examples shown on this thread, they are no better or worse however.
I might add that this tab is not a old Delta fake, which at first I thought it might be. I had a Delta and this one differs.

You probably right about the sun light I may have been quick to judge.
The wear on the runes doesn't seem consistent with the black base material it's almost as if the runes have rubbed up against something without making contact with the base material.
And there appears to be no border around the edge of the runes as far as I'm aware most rzm runics I owned had them apart from the type with thin runes.
Does anyone else have any opinions which may help?

Herein lies the problem! Check the post by baldy1939. There are two tabs that dont have borders.
Sometime ago this year a tab was posted that was essentially the same as mine. It was universally judged good.
I am on the fence about this tab, but I cannot place my finger on just what is right or wrong with it.

It has a certain amount of good honest use too
Which I believe comes from been sewn to a tunic.
