This cap eagle has a darker metal base with considerable patina - looks almost like brass. I appreciate a review on this one.

Looks like a good Wagner to me.
For sure no cast copy.

Sorry, this is a common, die struck repro that has been aged.

If you look closely at the eagle's eye, you can see a unique die characteristic On the top.

Here's one more thing. Notice the same flaw in the feathers here.

These are commonly misinterpreted. Many times, these will also have a "41" on the back too.

I spotted it from the wings. Lateral edges not pointed also from top, from back side was my kisses of death.
