Hi

i got yesterday this first pattern (or traditional) skull made from nikelsilver.

I am not shure if he is wartime made or after the war.

what are your opinions about this one?

That's not Neusilber, that's Bright Zinc Plate (BZP).

In my opinion skull is fake and alloy for sure isn't Neusilber.
Alloy used in this skull looks like cheap jewellerey alloy from phlea market

The Skull is 1000% shure made of Nikelsiver (Neusilber!), only the prongs are made of brass!

Bright Zinc Plate (BZP), is not shining in light golden like nikelsilver (This skull!)! Bright Zinc Plate (BZP) is shining silver

Nikelsilver is a brass alloy wehre is a 5-15% proportion of Nikel, this made the material tougher.

Now some (i know Bad) picturs from oxydation, if i find next week more time, i will do better picturs!

The oxyd is red what i only knows from copper alloys!
