    Incredible that even at that time the lack of uniformity is shown. Recent studies as provided on this forum show more variants were possible than we could have imagined only 30 years ago.

            Thanks. Not that early.

            Many folks always think the large flowing type cyphers were worn only in the
            early '30ies. But they still worn into the Russian campain in the summer/fall of 1941!

              Another observation, some wearing belts but most are not, and some have belt hooks, others no hooks. Just fascinating, the more you look closely at this photo the more you see. Thanks again Michael for sharing.
