    Weard patch SS??

Ok, i pulled this from e-stand to find more info on it.

this came out of a box my friends dad has had for along time. It was with other German items, like badges,flags,tinnies,1 knife, and one standard/trumpet.

he had thought it had came off of some kind of flag, but can't recall?? he had got rid of about 6 flags and he remembers one or two being with SS on them but it was back in the 60's when he needed money. he haden't reopened this box til his son got involved with collecting, thanks to ME!!

so i can't say it's a barn find or anything like that, but it is made like a German Cross in cloth, the same type of paper backing and feels right from the time. it is as i said very weard??? anyone have any ideas to what this might be??

    thanks greg koepp

Just to add this sat on the e-stand for a day, I got home from work, liked it,sent the PM, now its pulled for research, obviously to see if its worth more. If its advertised for $30 then it should be sold for $30 as I offered IMHO

If it is German patch could it be a Factory Guard Insignia or related to an Industrial Company?

IMHO I don't think it has anything to do with the SS/FM

                Sorry

That'd be my guess as well. It certainly isn't SS-FM.

I remember seeing this insignia, I believe, in connection with a truck or automobile/freight/ etc. It's possible the F stands for 'Fabrik' or something like that.
