      Ring

After looking at it again, I'd buy it. $2,000 is a steal, but I'd still offer a little less, unless you're a sap. Note: If you tried to sand it down, you could get rid of the new teeth, BUT.........the skull would be so flat, it would look horrible. I would NOT even consider that. Even though the ring should have been left alone, whomever did the re-tooling did an excellent job - nice and even. Good luck!

After doing a little research this ring is 1930s style ring, bearing a date of the Knight of the Long Knives. Craig Gottlieb has one for over $10,000.00!

Well, personally, I think something (ring) with a CG connection is a negative verse positive!
Don't judge your item based on his web site or prices.

For the asking price they are wanting it's a good deal buy it. If you have been looking to add one of these to your collection this is it. You won't find one that gets any better reviews then what you have got here so far. And as far as price goes the seller is asking about half of what he could probably get if he shopped this ring around for a while.

And half is a low estimate there too, possibly, to be honest. I'd take it at 4k!

I think you are focusing too much on the money. If you like it and it is at the price you can pay, then that is what it is worth!
If you are buying then trying to flip , then you get what someone else thinks is the right price. You can go in circles trying to figure it out. DON"T DO IT, you will give yourself an ulcer! Buy it because it is real and few originals in good condition are out there.
I have a 34 dated ring and would not take any amount for it, so you see how value goes. Ron

                    Ring

"IF it was retooled......." just to make sure we're on the same page.........No - it WAS retooled. There is no ambiguity on that. Best of luck!!

He is selling it now on estand.. The ring looks real except for the skull. Why make up the story?

Btw it sold for 1900USd in the auction
