..as I said from the very first moment... et viola
...it is exact the same fake material than this egg here imo....http://www.ebay.de/itm/311318308339?...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Never buy the story of an item, buy just the facts....
As said. it s not even a fake, it s just a repro...
it is a nice ensemble, but the wrapper has not even a chance

          Sad....
In staid of sticking your head in the sand, return the jacket to the one who sold it to you as an original!

I don't need to sell the configuration as I have.

I will put it back to my 11 Waffen SS figures I own in same quality Of Heinz Meager. Camo.

            (...)

....I would like to see the other 10 figures of the same 'quality'....or maybe better not...,no, no,...just kiddin', leave them where they are please!

I don t know what assures you so much it was worn by Maeger himself but I assume somebody burned you. By the way, didn t Maeger serve in an infantry unit... a tank wrapper is very uncommon in a infantry unit...

It's not even a good fake but for 100 € it was at least a cheap fake.

I guess a half track MG42 gunner in a mechanized infantry unit could have worn a field gray wrapper and staying with his vehicle dressed in a wrapper,
while dropping off infantry troops, those dressed in regular uniforms, but this is an infantry MG impression that is being offered and the red assault gunner piping would be out of place...

                  Btw more on Maeger here...

                  http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtop...?f=50&t=179572

(turns out the famous soldier in the photos is actually most likely another guy who is named in this thread, Maeger some claim not even participating in the Ardennes...(was wounded, served later as a non combatant sani...). Who knows? The famous Ardennes MG gunner did wear a US captured poncho over his standard SS uniform
(and no helmet cover, nor binos btw, so the impression is not very accurate, but still cool looking albeit the questionable wrapper)!

It would be nice if you would post some pictures of the SS Parka, it looks promising, and the helmet cover deserves some pictures, might as well be a good one.

Is it me or is it time to get a hall of fame for fabulous named uniforms here? Heinz Meager, Gertrud Rabestein, who will be next?
