SS Eagle and Collar Tab for review

The collar tab seems to be made out of the right type of wool. I know that sometimes these collar tabs were private purchase, could the silver braid have been added later?

The eagle has seen better days not sure if it is original or not.

Any help on these two items would be helpful.

The eagle is a "Dachau" type
The piping on the tab is a bit rough
Maybe added later

Never seen this dachau type? Missing the beak. I too think the eagle is original but not a common dachau eagle.
