Don't do that either. Get some moth balls and wrap them up in in some aluminium foil. Punch a lot of holes in it so the camphor fumes can get out. Put it in a box with the uniform on a platform above the moth balls and put a tight lid on it for a few weeks. It's real important the cloth does not touch the moth balls! Open the box, and hang the uniform in a dry well ventilated area to air out til the smell is gone and you should be all etc. Some use different insectides but I am not sure which to use.
