Flatwire Das Reich! They won't come nicer...

Hi guys,
I wanted to share the treasure I got this morning
Untouched as it came from the tunic.
This cufftitle is simply in perfect condition, it has been hand seen with some sewing threads still present.
Hope you like it but it looks even better in hands

Just curious, Is it really flatwire? It seems more like a synthetic weave then metallic. I am not really an expert on Cufftitles, so just learning. Maybe I am totally off base.

I agree...this is not your normal flatwire material...even the boarder is not flatwire. I still like it though...

Actually, guys are right it is not really "wire" ..the first time I see something like that - the whole thing is woven in silk ! but IMO definitely original. Below is a comparison with the standard flatwire title with silk borders (left)

Very nice, and a tough one to find. The protective backing on the rear is constructed as though it was covering flatwire, but it's non-wire thread.

I agree, its a nice cuff title. Flat wire may not be the case since there is no metallic content of the weave - never the less a very nice cuff. These all synthetic cuff titles was also made for Wiking and I have seen the rarest among them - Westland. If they were issued to officers as well I dont know or if it is the enlisted version of the metallic flat wire version.

Still its a nice uniform removed cuff title.
