Homemade SS M43 from Zelt?

Hi folks,

Recently picked this up. I know I cant be lucky enough for this to be 100% original but could the material be correct and made later? I dont know about the skull either?

As you can see, it has the fall on the outside and the spring green on the inside

I did put a black light on all of it and none of the stitching or skull glows. Either way its pretty cool and is a very large size. I wear a 7.5 hat and its too big for me.

TK looks ok, tropical too from pics, not sure on hat JMO

No patina no usong sign building method poor. I had a field made cap and it was build very well and of course with a lot of patina.
