a collector friend ask me to show this cap here for opinions. It is not in the shop and it wont go in my shop. Just asking the Pro`s.

Excellent original flatwire cap skull. The eagle is of course a breast eagle but I've seen them on caps before.

I'm no cap expert but that thing looks great to me personally.

Nice to see it - check Peter's site of Military antiques Stockholm
he has one for sale with this patter
and yes - rare but not impossible to see sleeve eagle attached as a cap eagle
Its the same as wehrmachts officers breast eagle being used as a SS officers sleeve eagle - rare to seen and making every collector suspicious - but not impossible to happen and seen many times
