There is a book about Remy Schrijnen and his comrades. It's called The last knight of Flanders. Do you know that book? I can recommend it.

Check out this publisher... has a lot of books... only a few are listed on his website. He's re-publishing Vl. in uniform and Vl. aan het Oostfront
You should pay them a visit... maybe once with you uncle...
